About The Event
Macon County has been invited to participate in called Building Outdoor Communities. The program is designed to align key stakeholders seeking to develop and advance outdoor community and economic development priorities that ultimately enhance quality of life for our people and businesses. Macon County is one of 11 WNC communities going through a 7-month capacity building exercise that will help us assess our existing assets, understand the gaps, and work toward a shared vision for priorities going forward.

Bradley Spiegel from the Made By Mountains team will be present to provide a program overview and facilitate a discussion around prioritizing our outdoor recreation assets.
